We are Nicolet and Guillaume Groen
Together we form the creative and technical heart behind Picture + Space. We work, live, travel and draw together, and that's reflected in everything we create.
We are curious makers who enjoy observing closely and asking many questions. In everything we do, we search for the core: real places, real people, and a story that rings true, without fuss.
What we stand for: creating images together that reflect reality, and building strong, trustworthy brands for our clients.
Our Approach
Down‑to‑earth, meticulous and always focused on what feels right for you
For us, everything starts with looking. At light that streaks along a wall. At traces of use in a house. At lines in the architecture of a building. But also at you as a client: who are you, what do you find important, which clients do you want to reach?
We believe you can only capture that properly if you take the time to listen. So before we create anything, we ask questions. About purpose, feeling, and practice. Then we look for a solution that fits: not the most spectacular photo for the sake of the photo, but the image that suits your story.
We don't like tricks and empty promises. We prefer to be honest, clear, and achievable, and then build images and a brand together step by step that you can use for a long time.

Nicolet
Artistic eye for atmosphere, imagery and creative concepts
Nicolet is an interior photographer, brand designer, visual artist, and educator. Since 2007, she has worked full-time as a specialist in property presentation and has photographed over 3000 homes.
Her strength lies in translating feeling into image. She quickly sees what atmosphere an interior needs, which details can be enhanced or omitted, and how colour and composition together tell a story. In her work, art, photography, branding, and entrepreneurship come together.
The courses she develops and teaches focus on craftsmanship, clarity, and doing what works. No quick success formulas, but an honest look at what is truly needed to build a business and brand that suits you.

Guillaume
Calm builder with an eye for lines, structure and technique
Guillaume is a photographer, videographer, and drone pilot, with a focus on industrial photography. Since 2015, he has worked full-time as a photographer, capturing factories, construction projects, and other raw environments in honest, clear images.
He has a keen eye for structure and rhythm: lines, planes, and details that others often overlook form the basis of a strong image for him. His work combines technology, precision, and imagination.
Behind the scenes, Guillaume is the technical engine. He ensures that websites, online learning environments, and course materials run as they should. Calm, precise, and solution-oriented – someone you can rely on.

Makers of considered imagery and strong brands
Together, we combine creativity, technology, art, and entrepreneurship. We both look at things differently, but we seek the same thing: to create work that is right for you and your clients, without fuss and without empty promises.
Where one person primarily focuses on atmosphere, story, and feeling, the other looks at structure, technique, and practical feasibility. Nicolet zooms in on atmosphere, detail, and brand story; Guillaume looks at lines, rhythm, and technical execution. By bringing these two perspectives together, work is created that is both aesthetically strong and functionally well-considered.
You notice this in our collaborations with clients: we take the time to listen, ask questions, and think along about what you need in the long term. We translate that into images and resources that you can really move forward with, honest, clear, and achievable.
Urban sketching & more
Drawing keeps us sharp and teaches us to slow down and really look
Besides our work, we share a great love for drawing. We both do Urban Sketching: with fountain pens, brushes, and watercolour paints, we capture cities, streets, coffee shops, and holiday memories.
We incorporate this way of looking at light, lines, colour and atmosphere into everything we create, from interior photos to videos and web design. It helps us to look a little longer, listen better and capture the essence of a place or story.
