Link in bio 😀 Since my childhood, Italy has taken hold of me, first during many family vacations, and later I worked as a pizza baker in Calabria, the deep south of the country, in my early twenties. Italy entered my system somewhere along the road, the deep sense of belonging there. Italy is also the place where I rediscovered my art two years ago. Packed with a toiletry purse filled with just a couple of supplies, I started my first art journal. I bought my first vintage ephemera on the antique market in Fermo, and my current work is infused with the collected memories of the country where I feel at home so much more than my native country, the Netherlands.
When Renee Mueller asked me to create an online art class, it, first of all, caught me by surprise. Who was I to teach art with, back then, just over a year of irregular practice while still discovering so many facets and materials? On the other hand, I have been teaching interior photography for over a decade, and I love to instruct and connect with my students. I explain my thought process in Collecting Memories while translating all those fantastic memories I collected over the years into beautiful art pieces. Of course, you can follow my path of discovery, but throughout the lessons, I encourage you to use your memories and implement them in the work you create during this class and in your later work.
During the 7+ hours of content, we fill a box with sources of inspiration; we will embrace our marks, create abstract landscapes, make a beautifully layered collage and a beautiful assemblage of monoprinted miniature art pieces. Most of my interior photography work is for seven

Most of my interior photography work is for seven real estate clients that call me for every one of their listings. I love the variety of real estate even after 13 years, but, I would never photograph humans during those shoots. ⁠

I also have other clients like Amanda from @selectwindows that offer the possibility to be more creative. She turned out to be an excellent model!
